TOYOTA GAZOO Racing embodies TOYOTA’s unwavering dedication to breaking boundaries and creating “better” cars. This year, Toyota Motor Philippines is set to kick off the 2024 motorsport season with exciting new developments and surprises for its premier one-make racing series, now renamed the Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup for its tenth season. This change marks a new chapter in the Philippines’ longest-running one-make race (OMR) series.
The TGR Philippine Cup will take place over three race weekends, open to the public, scheduled for July 13, September 28, and November 9, all taking place at Clark International Speedway in Pampanga. Competitors, both new and established, from various racing teams across the country, will compete in the TGR Philippine Cup Sprint Race in three categories: Promotion Class, Sports Class, and Super Sports Class. The race aims to identify the best talents in Philippine motorsports.
The race cars will be equipped with GT Radial high-performance tires—Champiro GTX PRO, Champiro SX-R, and Champiro SX2. With a focus on improving grip, stability, and overall driving dynamics, GT Radial high-performance tires are designed to meet the demanding requirements of competitive racing.
